Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. If I preorder, how long is the wait. 

A. Generally it is 6 weeks and we usually place an order every four weeks.  If you do preorder we give you an appox date, we will never say 3 weeks and it turns out to be 5.  Customs is the only thing we can not control and its usually released within 3-5 days. 

Q.  How are your prices so cheap? 

A.  Two reasons….low overhead and one employee.  I personally run everything from making the orders, to inside the showroom to this website.  It does alleviate a lot of confusion and at the end of the day saves you, the customer money.  Also, while some would say we’re in the middle of nowhere I like to refer to it as gently tucked away in Richmond 3 min east of ikea.  Low overhead allows us to bring in the best product and fair prices.

Q. Is it real leather?

A.  YES!  All of our products you see on this site and in our showroom are made with genuine Aniline Leather or Top Grain leather.  We do carry bi-cast which is l a real leather, however it is specific because it has a shiny finish.  Bi Cast is usually 100$ cheaper as well.  All prices on the site are quote in Top Grain Leather prices.

Q. So what is BiCast Leather?

A. Bicast leather is a split leather with a layer of polyurethane applied to the surface and then embossed. Bycast was originally made for the shoe industry and recently was adopted by the furniture industry. The original formula created by Bayer was strong, but expensive. Most of the Bycast used today is very strong and durable product. The result is a slightly stiffer product that is cheaper than top grain leather but has a much more consistant texture and is easier to clean and maintain. Some manufacturers use the bycast treatment to process their leather, which provides a smooth, shiny finish as well as protection to the leather.

Q. So if I wanted a sectional or couch in BiCast Leather it would be $100 cheaper then shown on the website?

A. Yes.

Q. We are religious and can’t have any products that are made with any leather at all.  Do you have Vinyl or PVC? 

A. Yes we can order it in we also have microfiber as well.

Q. Do you take credit cards?

A. We take paypal and love the protection that they not only give you the customer, but us the retailer as well.

Q.  Can you ship anywhere in Canada or the US?

Q. Is there a warranty?

A. Yes, take a look at our Warranty section.

Q. We got the sectional home and its too big.  Can we return it?

A. At 604wholesale.ca we want you to be happy with your purchase.  While other companies say it, WE ACTUALLY MEAN IT!  We offer a 48hr window should you get the product home and it just totally doesn’t work we will refund you or exchange.  WHATEVER YOU WANT.  Course, unless there is damage it would be the only hesitation.  We do hope you would want something else in our line, but even if you just want your money back we will gladly return it.

Q. How is that possible?

A. Because we are small, our business is driven by word of mouth.  WE WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY!  Customer Service used to define a successful business, now its practically extinct.  We have every intention of bringing it back and it’s clearly evident with our in store policies.  We also carry products we believe will sell quite quickly so if it ends up not being your cup of tea, perhaps someone else will have a drink.  Or, I will simply sell it to someone in my family lol.

Q. I love one of your sectionals but the chaise is a few inches too long.  Can if be shortened?  Is there a charge?

A. Yes it can.  We can usually alter legs, shorten products a few inches without there being a cost.  If it is significant, that is a different story.  If you are doing a preorder and making alterations we will ask for complete payment up front.  If the manufacturer thinks it will be too big of a job they will decline it before hand we will notify you.

Q. What if I want to add to a chaise?

A. Again, from 4-6 inches is usually okay, but it will result in extra material cost that can be reflected against the total.  It does also depend on what type of pattern in stitching is within the design.  They are usually never more then $150.  Again, we would ask for complete payment up front should you do this.

Q. Can I get more headrests or pillows with the sectional or couch?

A. Yes, headrests are usually 100 and pillows are 50

Q. I want to preorder a sectional or couch, do I need to leave a deposit?

A. We do ask for at least half up front (can be done via paypal) when the product comes in, the remaining can be paid upon delivery or pick up.  If for some reason the product is not as you ordered will refund you completely and not ask you to complete payment.  However in 3 years this has yet to happen.
